iOS 13 Wishlist: The Bucket Full Of Expectations

June is getting close and it’s that time of the year when there are whispers all around of what to expect and what not to expect from the new iOS 13. We are about to drop the curtain off and get the first look of Apple’s next iOS update.

The rumor mill hasn’t stopped yet from speculating what the next version will look like but it feels like the version will be a refreshed look with punchy colors. It's a long overdue requirement from the iOS update to look radically different. It would really be great if you hire an iPhone App developer after the update has been released to make the work easy.

With millions of users worldwide, it is really difficult to find the new aesthetic design that will live up to everyone’s ex
pectations. People are spilling the beans about the iOS 13 expectations, let's take a sneak peek on the much-awaited goodies on the list.

Android phones with dynamic features are taking everyone’s attention and iOS needs to cope up with the growing competition and unleash the potential of iPhones and iPad.

Apple’s Map Offline Usage:

The poor internet connection in certain areas blocks the navigation while traveling. Don’t we all get worried if the navigation stops at an unknown place during a road trip? We may land up even out of the grid.

Hope this new update brings the option to use Apple’s Map offline to avoid any more terrified hiccups.

TimeLapse Wallpapers:

Don’t we all love more than one landscape picture or blooming flowers shared on the list and want to see them as a backdrop of our screen? Don’t we expect to change them with time? We all do, right? This might look quite demanding but it would be great if the wallpapers change dynamically with time all day long.

Improved Text Selection:

It is one of the most infuriating things on iOS that is incredibly tedious. It takes forever time to select a sentence or a phrase on iOS. We would love to see Apple rethink and make it accurate.

Redesigned Siri:

The need of voice assistant has drastically increased in the past few years and we all don’t mind with Siri hijacking the screen every time she’s triggered. Undoubtedly Siri is a godsend but the look and the feel can be made more professional. It can be made more non-intrusive and with minimalistic design.

Drag and Drop:

The drag and drop facility for images, text, and URL speeds up the task and increases productivity.
It would be a cherry on the cake if iOS comes up with this in the new update.

Support Youtube 4K and HDR video:

The maximum resolution that iOS supports is the 1920 x 1080 for Youtube videos. Higher resolutions exclusively use Google’s royalty-free VP9 codec. Apple though refuses to support VP9 codecs videos but it’s the time that they have to come to a commonplace.

True Dual Monitor Support:

Though we can plug into the projector or TV, we would love to see the dual monitor support expanded. We expect with deep rethinking Apple comes up with the facility to open two separate apps and interact with.

A true Dark Mode:

It’s high time that iOS comes up with a true dark mode. Though iPhone X works best with an OLED display, we expect it to come across all iOS devices.
It is currently available in iOS but has plenty of room for improvement.

Multitasking over iPhones:

iPads have some of the awesome and excellent features that support multitasking but we would love to see them ported on iPhones.  The split view functionality on iPhones would be incredibly useful in situations where you want to jot down notes while watching a video, picture in picture facility would be wonderful too.

Support for Multiple Users:

We do share our iOS devices specifically iPads without Family. This means we are sharing the same cloud account, apps, and settings. We wish Apple adds support for multiple profiles handling each with their own iCloud and apps.  This requirement also covers the need to have and support a child accounts with parental control.

Though our wishlist is long but barring a few wildcards more doesn’t seem more demanding:

  • A need for non-intrusive popups;
  • New ringtones;
  • New and Smooth animations;
  • Option to hide notch;
  • Swiping on the keyboard;
  • iPhone PiP;
  • Greater Security;
  • Notifications Syncing;
  • Home Screen redesign.

It is pretty okay to praise and adopt some features from the counterpart-Andriod! Don't you think that will spice up the game for iPhone App development? We hope most of our prayers and the wishlist are answered in this new update. These features if included will go a long way and make the iOS journey more enjoyable.
